Hugh Jackman 'warned' by security over mistake in Rockefeller Christmas Tree selfie
Hugh Jackman has revealed he got in trouble while visiting the Rockefeller Center’s Christmas tree in Manhattan, New York.
The actor took to his Instagram on Christmas day to share his run-in with the security at the iconic location over their festive display and huge tree. Hugh Jackman shared a carousel of pictures and videos of himself and the decorations. He called it “so beautiful” and wrote it wasn’t “crowded at all.” Ever the comedian, the Hollywood star joked with fans about his visit and warned them about getting in trouble with the center’s security.
Hugh Jackman got too close to a Christmas tree
In one of the clips, Hugh Jackman can be seen standing in front of the Christmas tree and capturing the moment on his phone. Hugh is wearing his glasses, along with a navy blue jacket and dark gray pants to keep warm in the chilly weather. He accessorized with a light nude-colored beanie hat to keep his head warm.
The 55-year-old explained he went beyond the barrier of where the public is allowed around the tall ornament but said the security guard was “nice” and let him off with “just a warning.”
He captioned the post: “Highly recommend getting up really early on Christmas morning and taking a walk to see the Rockefeller Christmas tree. It’s so beautiful and not crowded at all. I did get in trouble for going beyond the barrier but the security guard was nice and let me go with just a warning.”
