Hailing from New Jersey, Midori Francis (born as Midori Iwama) was inclined towards acting since childhood, she started acting with the theatrical production of the musical ‘Annie’ at the Count Basie Theatre. Since then, she appeared in many community productions.

She starred in the musical ‘Titanic,‘ at 10. She was a member of the acclaimed Performing Arts Society of Rumson- Fair Haven Regional High School. Midori earned the “Best Thespian Award” during her senior year while being the President of the International Thespian Society. She then pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Acting from Mason Gross School of The Arts, Rutgers University and further enrolled herself in a one-year program at London’s Rutgers Conservatory at Shakespeare’s Globe where students study abroad at a professional theater of international stature.

Film and Television Career

Midori Francis made her TV debut back in 2016 in the American comedy-drama show ‘Younger’ where she played the role of Lin.

She also appeared in Gotham (2017) and Divorce (2018).

Francis made her feature film debut in 2018 with Ocean’s 8 and later on bagged many popular and prominent projects like Good Boys(2019), South Mountain(2019), Dash & Lily(2020).
